11 Self-Care Beauty Products I Reach for When I Need a Pick-Me-Up
Bad days happen, but I make it a point to have a few mood-boosting activities when I need them. That’s why I’ve been into the dopamine menu trend on TikTok, with everyone sharing what makes them happy. A few of my bad-day pick-me-ups are picking up a bouquet of flowers, going roller-skating, and giving myself a little at-home pampering.
With my favorite drink in hand and my playlist on blast, I pull out my favorite LED products, eye masks, nail polish, and more and give myself a beauty makeover. As the saying goes, if you look good, you feel good too. That said, I rounded up 10 of my coveted self-care products, and you can shop them below starting at just $11.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray
Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray is literally the spa in a bottle. I use it as a toner after washing my face, to refresh my makeup when it dries out, and even as a pick-me-up with the light aromatic citrusy scent. The multi-use spray is infused with orange blossom and aloe vera, which leaves skin feeling soothed, refreshed, and hydrated.
Solawave 4-in-1 Red Light Therapy Facial Wand
To continue with the theme of at-home spa-like products, Solawave’s 4-in-1 Red Light Therapy Facial Wand has been a game changer when it comes to my evening decompression sessions.
The handheld wand combines red light therapy with microcurrent technology to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, tighten and tone skin, and reduce puffiness. I use it every night for about five minutes to tone my jawline and make the fine lines on my forehead less noticable.
Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color
It might just be me, but doing my nails is very therapeutic. My go-to is Chanel’s Le Vernis Longwear Nail Color because they’ve got a ton of fall shades to choose from. It’s also super long-lasting, with my manicures going chip-free for over a week. The formula is rich, opaque, and has a glossy, glass-like finish. Plus, it’s available in 29 other shades.
Patchology Restoring Night Under Eye Patches
TBH, sometimes a good cry is what I need to feel better, but the downside is the puffiness that follows. With my crying sessions being a regular occurrence, I keep a few packs of Patchology’s Restoring Night Under Eye Patches in my fridge. The cooling sensation depuffs while also calming, brightening, and hydrating my under-eye. It even includes retinol to boost cell turnover and peptides to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow’s feet.
