Women dedicate tens of thousands of dollars a year to achieving the “Tracy Anderson body,” or “lean curves in the right places,” as Anderson, the founder and CEO of the namesake method, puts it. She’s trained many celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, and Madonna. Now, she’s learning to live with aging. “I see a lot of people doing a lot of injections and getting a lot of beautiful face-lifts,” Anderson says, but she’s holding out — at least for now. “We’ve been dysfunctionally programmed to judge beauty. I’m really tired of hearing about jowls,” she says. Here, the beauty regimen she swears by.

I wake up at seven. I’m very fortunate to live in different beautiful places. Right now, my view in the morning is these giant windows that look out on the mountains of Big Sky Country in Montana. I like snuggles, and it doesn’t matter if it’s with my dogs or my husband or my daughter. My son’s too old; he doesn’t want to snuggle anymore. He’s 27.

Coffee: I drink Bulletproof Coffee with foamed organic soy milk. A lot of people don’t know, but you get the caffeine that you need out of the first two to four sips of coffee. People just keep drinking it. I never finish a whole cup.

Shower: I don’t like to shower two times a day because I don’t like to dry out my skin or waste water. But I don’t ever go to sleep in my sweat. Sometimes, if I shower before my workout class, I’ll jump in the pool afterward to rinse off. I use the Osea Algae Body Wash and switch between Goop Beauty’s Amino-Acid Shampoo and Conditioner and Crown Affair’s Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. Then I will wash my face with The Outset’s Cleanser or the Allies of Skin one.

I dry off and then I get back in the shower. I use the C & the Moon Scrub when my skin is dry — that scrub is completely genius. Then I put on the Adipeau Body Gel. I put on Nécessaire’s Body Lotion in Santal mixed with my Got Physical Body Balm, and I follow that with the ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica SPF 50+. I actually do sometimes go without sunscreen because I’m not really afraid of the sun.

Skin Care: For my face, I put on the Eighth Day Serum, then The Outset’s Collagen Prep Serum, and then I gua sha with the Allies of Skin Bakuchiol Firming Oil. Then I mix The Outset’s Daily Moisturizer with either Valmont L’Elixir des Glaciers Crème de Masque Majestueuse or Biologique Recherche Crème Masque Vernix VG.

I use the same cleansers, and I’ll do red-light therapy with the Celluma Pro for 20 minutes. Then I do those three serums again. I let The Outset Blue Clay Mask soak in and then I’ll sleep in a Biologique Recherche mask. And I use Nécessaire’s Neck Serum. I get ready for bed early because I really protect my sleep. People will be out by the bonfire singing and I’m in bed.

I won’t do anything that hurts or that will swell. But I like this little thing called the Vivace, which feels like tiny stamps. And then there’s a thing in Los Angeles from VH Skincare that I like called Forma, which is like a baby version of Morpheus8. It feels like a warm stone massage on your face.

Gwyneth Paltrow likes retinol, but retinol will swell my eyes shut. I don’t react well to it. I’ve used KaramMD’s Retinol. I can get away with it because it’s mixed with things. I actually like Dr. Lara Devgan’s Retinol + Bakuchiol Serum, too.

Water is a big topic. I’m nervous about our water. I won’t drink out of plastic bottles; that’s for sure. But also, the glass bottle is not enough. You really have to dig into the reporting of places, and I’m not particularly loyal to just Mountain Valley Spring Water, because the reports change too, so I will bounce around based on the reports and the bottling. I’m kind of psychotic about it. I have a custom water system with triple filters in all of my homes.

I do my intermediate master class two times a week, MyMode two times a week with the Pro Staff, and Growth Rings two times a week. I do HeartStone every single day.

I cannot stand these trending diets that some doctors are pushing. Eating 100 grams of animal protein a day? It is vomitous to me. It’s dirty, and it’s bad for the environment, and it’s harmful to the animal, and the people, in my opinion, look terrible. I’ve been vegan a couple of different times in my life, and I will never eat a four-legged animal again. When I was on world tours with Madonna, I had young Thai coconuts shipped to me wherever I was, and I was hacking them off with a machete and drinking them.
